10. Summary of the thesis results:
- This thesis contributes to clarifying the scientific basis of Buddhist education and monastic training activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Can Tho City in particular and the Vietnam Buddhist Association in general, including the viewpoints, content, methods, and measures of education and training (in monasteries, centralized educational institutions, through ceremonies and retreats); the guidance, direction, and management work of the Association, specialized committees, the Executive Board, abbots of monasteries, and leaders of educational institutions; the achievements and contributions in training Buddhist human resources, as well as difficulties and limitations.
- The thesis highlights existing problems in Buddhist education activities, training of monks and human resources for Buddhism in Can Tho (meeting the requirements of both improving the quality and effectiveness of education and training activities while preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups; the task of educating and training human resources for the Buddhist Church in neighboring localities with investment in human resources and conditions for educational facilities of Buddhism in Can Tho; the requirement to innovate the content and methods of Buddhist education and training to suit the general development of society and the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution; the incompleteness and lack of uniformity in the content, curriculum, and programs of Buddhist education at all levels; inadequacies in the functions and tasks of specialized committees).
Based on this, the thesis proposes several solutions to address shortcomings and contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Buddhist human resource education and training, such as: unifying content and programs; investing in and supporting the construction and improvement of facilities; innovating content and methods, and applying information technology; consolidating educational institutions (establishing a regionally linked vocational school, establishing a Khmer Theravada Buddhist Elementary School, seeking approval to change the management entity of the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy, etc.); decentralizing and delegating authority to specialized committees; focusing on spiritual practice, combining education and meditation; improving the qualifications of lecturers; strengthening the leadership and management role of all levels of the Buddhist Sangha; and linking it with the responsibilities of all levels of government, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers.

- The thesis contributes to clarifying the scientific foundation of Buddhist education and training activities to talented monks of the Vietnamese Buddhist Organization in Can Tho city in particular and the Central Vietnamese Buddhist Organization in general, including the perspectives, contents, methods and measures of education and training in monasteries, concentrated educational institutions, through ceremonies and retreats; s, directions and administrations of the Buddhist Organization, professional guidance boards, executive administrative boards, chief abbots of monasteries, leaders of educational institutions; achieved results, contributing to the training of Buddhist human resources, as well as difficulties and limitations.
- The thesis points out the existing problems in Buddhist education activities and training of talented monks and human resources for Buddhism in Can Tho city that meeting requirements and improving quality and effectiveness of education and training activities while preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups; the task of educating and training human resources for the Buddhist Organization in neighboring localities with investment in human resources and development conditions for educational institutions of Buddhist Education in Can Tho city; requirements for renovating the content and methods of Buddhist education and training in line with the general development of society in the perspective of the Fourth Industrial Revolution`s era; incompleteness and lack of internal synchronized content, curriculum, educational programs of Buddhist studies at all levels as well as inadequacies in functions and tasks of specialized committees.
- On that basis, the thesis proposes some solutions to solve the inadequacies and contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency in the Buddhist education and training of human resources such as: unified contents and programs; to invest in and support the construction as well as completion of material facilities; to innovate information technology, methods and applications; to consolidate educational institutions such as: establishing a regional-linked-based on Intermediate School, establishing a Khmer Theravada Buddhist Primary School and applying for a policy to change the management entity for the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy, etc.; decentralization and delegation of authority to specialized committees; focus on studying and combining education with meditation; upgrade the qualifications of the teaching staffs; to empower the leadership and management role of the Buddhist Organization at all levels that associated with the responsibilities of the authorities, monks and nuns and lay-Buddhists.
