- The thesis consists of three main chapters, with the achieved result being the identification and analysis of manifestations of psychological trauma in Japanese literary works about war, namely *Grave of the Fireflies*, *Flaming Zero*, and *Thousand Cranes of Sadako*.
- The thesis has identified the main causes of these traumas as stemming from war, horrific events that exceeded the limits of endurance and caused psychological damage due to war and its aftermath. In addition, the application of an interdisciplinary approach and research, along with comparisons with several historical, cultural, and anthropological documents from Japan, has contributed to a multi-faceted perspective on the research problem, identifying other possible causes of trauma stemming from the historical context, cultural characteristics, and social features. Simultaneously, other perspectives and the trauma experiences of the individuals involved reveal little-known aspects of history.
- In addition to the issues mentioned above, the thesis has explored and explained several methods that can help alleviate mental trauma and have significance, such as the anti-war message in Grave of the Fireflies, Zero Firefight, and Sadako's Thousand Cranes.
