This thesis provides a systematic study of energy cooperation among European Union (EU) member states during the period 2014-2023; clarifies the theoretical basis and key factors influencing energy cooperation among EU member states; and analyzes the current state of energy cooperation during the period 2014-2023 in the following aspects: building dialogue mechanisms, production and technology transfer, infrastructure development, and diversification of energy sources.
Based on this, the thesis draws conclusions including the results and limitations of EU energy cooperation during the period 2014-2023 (compared with the period before 2014). At the same time, the thesis points out the impact of the cooperation process on EU member states. The thesis also forecasts the prospects for energy cooperation among EU member states until 2030, focusing on cooperation in technological transition towards the use of green energy, post-pandemic recovery, and responding to crises arising from geopolitical conflicts.
11. Practical applications: This thesis serves as a reference for research and teaching on energy cooperation and EU energy policy. It contributes to providing arguments for research and policy planning on energy issues in general, and within the EU in particular.
12. Future research directions: The author continues to research energy cooperation between the EU and external partners, studying trends and lessons for other regional organizations.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis provides a systematic study of energy cooperation among European Union (EU) member states between 2014 and 2023. It elucidates the theoretical foundations and key factors in energy cooperation within the EU, while analyzing the state of energy cooperation from 2014 to 2023 across several dimensions: the establishment of dialogue mechanisms, production and technology transfer, infrastructure development, and diversification of energy supply sources.
Based on this analysis, the thesis offers insights into the achievements and limitations of EU energy cooperation during 2014–2023, with a comparative perspective relative to the pre-2014 period. Furthermore, it examines the impacts of this cooperative process on EU member states. The thesis also forecasts the prospects for energy cooperation among EU member states up to 2030, emphasizing collaboration in technological transitions toward green energy, post-pandemic recovery, and responses to crises stemming from geopolitical conflicts.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The results of thesis can be served as a reference document, scientific basis for researches related to energy cooperation and EU energy policies. The prospects and forecasted scenarios of the thesis contribute to the foundation for policymaking on energy issues, both for the EU in particular and for other regions in general.
13. Further research directions, if any: The author continues to research energy cooperation between the EU and external partners, examining trends and experiences for other regions.
