- Explain and clarify some basic features of the economic, social, political and security situation in Southeast Asia in the first three decades of the 21st century (from the beginning of the 21st century to 2025).

- Forecasting the political, security, economic situation and trends of the Southeast Asia region until 2030.

- Analyze and clarify the impacts of the Southeast Asian regional situation on Vietnam and recommend Vietnam's strategic policy orientation towards ASEAN until 2030.

11. Practical application

The research results of the project provide scientific arguments for competent authorities to refer to in orienting Vietnam's policy strategy towards ASEAN until 2030; at the same time, it can be used as reference material in research, teaching, learning, and fostering professional knowledge for related subjects and those interested in the research topic of the project.
