From there, the thesis explores the prominent features of the essay genre in terms of reflecting the reality of social life, nature, culture, and people—the truth and factual events. It also examines artistic aspects such as lyricism, social commentary, narrative point of view, language, and tone of the essay. Based on this, we derive the distinctive features of the essay based on the characteristics of the essay genre in general and the literary and journalistic features of Vu Bang's essays in particular. 11.
