Summary of Thesis Results: (Summarize the thesis results, emphasizing new findings if any) Within the framework of a thesis topic, we used poetics, socio-historical methods, comparative methods, etc., to study Lan Khai and the historical novel genre. The results of our research are as follows: - Recreating the appearance of Lan Khai's historical novel works, thereby showing that he is a great writer in this genre. Throughout his writing career, Lan Khai wrote nearly thirty historical novels, many of which truly made a great impact in both content and artistry. - Exploring some characteristics of the content and form of Lan Khai's historical novels, thereby evaluating the successes and limitations of Lan Khai in terms of content and artistic poetics. In terms of content, we found that Lan Khai's historical novels mainly focus on three main inspirations: nationalistic inspiration, romantic inspiration, and moral inspiration. Based on these three main inspirations, the author's works revolve around three main themes: the theme of kings and queens, the theme of women, and the theme of heroes. In terms of artistry, we have also pointed out the relationship between historical accuracy and artistic fiction; the art of structure; the art of character development; and the language and tone in Lan Khai's novels. - Establishing and affirming the role of writer Lan Khai in the modernization process of Vietnamese literature from 1930 to 1945, restoring his rightful place in the national literary scene.
