The results of the research process that we have carried out are as follows: - Recreate the appearance of Lan Khai's historical novel works, thereby seeing that he is a great writer in this genre. Throughout his writing career, Lan Khai has written nearly thirty historical novels, many of which have really made a big splash in both content and art. - Study some characteristics of the content and form of Lan Khai's historical novels, thereby evaluating the successes and limitations of Lan Khai in terms of content and artistic poetics. In terms of content, we see that Lan Khai's historical novels mainly focus on three main inspirations: national inspiration, romantic inspiration, and moral inspiration. Based on these three main inspirations, the author has composed works revolving around three main themes: the theme of kings, the theme of women, and the theme of heroes. In terms of art, we have also pointed out the relationship between historical authenticity and artistic fiction; the art of structure; the art of character building; language and tone in Lan Khai's novels. - Establish and affirm the role of writer Lan Khai in the process of modernizing Vietnamese literature from 1930 to 1945, giving him back a worthy position in the national literary scene.
