For print media outlets: strengthening the training of editors who are highly skilled in their field and possess medical knowledge, and flexibly translating in-depth medical content into accessible and easily understandable topics for the public. Each newspaper needs strict content control to prevent biased articles from appearing. In addition, sections that foster interaction between readers and the press need to be exploited more effectively to both utilize the knowledge of the people and avoid the situation of imposed, one-sided information. 11. Summary of the findings of the thesis According to the thesis “Medical and Health information on printed newspapers”, the author of thesis has conducted a survey on the content and form of giving health information of the two newspapers “Science & Life”, “Health & Life”, and make many proposals to improve the efficiency of heath information on the press. The content of health information on both of “Science & Life” and “Health & Life” includes: the information of giving policies from the Party, the State, Medical sector on health care issues for the people; disease information; medical achievement information, new techniques in the treatment; the information on identification, prevention and treatment of common diseases; advice on medical, health issues, etc. There are several types of expressions such as: written language (headline, type), non-text language (color, photos, illustrated images, etcs). Health information on the press is surveyed specifically through two printed publications including a special newspaper, the organ of the Ministry of Health. It affirms certainly that the need of community for health care is really necessary and urgent. Solutions to improve the quality of health information on the press: Regarding for management authorities, they should help people understand adequately the policies and lines of the Party and State in providing health care services to all people. For the printed newspaper house, they should strengthen more training for professional editors about medical knowledge, flexibly transfer the advanced knowledge into closed and receptive issues to the public. Each paper articles should be strictly controlled about the content to avoid that there are some is not objective appearing on the newspapers. Besides, the section creating exchanges between readers and the media should be developed more effectively to not only take advantage of the knowledge of the people but also avoid imposing information one-way 11.
