Summary of the findings of the thesis According to the thesis “Medical and Health information on printed newspapers”, the author of thesis has conducted a survey on the content and form of giving health information of the two newspapers “Science & Life”, “Health & Life”, and make many proposals to improve the efficiency of heath information on the press. The content of health information on both of “Science & Life” and “Health & Life” includes: the information of giving policies from the Party, the State, Medical sector on health care issues for the people; disease information; medical achievement information, new techniques in the treatment; the information on identification, prevention and treatment of common diseases; advice on medical, health issues, etc. There are several types of expressions such as: written language (headline, type), non-text language (color, photos, illustrated images, etcs). Health information on the press is surveyed specifically through two printed publications including a special newspaper, the organ of the Ministry of Health. It affirms certainly that the need of community for health care is really necessary and urgent. Solutions to improve the quality of health information on the press: Regarding for management authorities, they should help people understand adequately the policies and lines of the Party and State in providing health care services to all people.
