Summary of the thesis results: - The thesis has made certain theoretical contributions related to electronic documents and electronic document management based on the provisions of the international standard ISO 15489. - Through thorough research of the ISO 15489 standard, through surveying the experiences of several countries around the world, and through an honest assessment of the current state of electronic document management in historical archives in Vietnam, the thesis has analyzed the conditions and feasibility of applying ISO, and simultaneously proposed contents that can be applied from the standard to electronic document management in Vietnam, specifically: building electronic archiving operational procedures and electronic archiving management procedures at historical archives. - Based on these studies, the thesis has proposed solutions to ensure that the above contents can be implemented in current archiving practice in Vietnam. 11.
