Summary of the results of the thesis: - The thesis has made certain theoretical contributions related to electronic documents and electronic document management based on the provisions of the international standard ISO 15489. - Through a thorough study of the ISO 15489 standard, through a survey of the experiences of a number of countries in the world, through an honest assessment of the current status of electronic document management in historical archives in Vietnam, the thesis has analyzed the conditions and feasibility of applying ISO, and at the same time proposed the applicable contents of the standard set to the management of electronic documents in Vietnam, specifically: building an electronic archive business process and an electronic archive management process at historical archives. - Based on these studies, the thesis has proposed solutions to ensure that the above contents can be implemented in current archival practice in Vietnam. 11.
