Summary of thesis results: After studying the system of village temple inscriptions in Thua Thien Hue, we have the following results: 1. Clarifying some issues regarding the time of appearance, spatial distribution, authors of the texts, and engravers of the system of temple inscriptions in Thua Thien Hue. * Time of appearance: The entire system of temple inscriptions in Thua Thien Hue that we surveyed originated during the Nguyen Dynasty, from the time of Tu Duc to the time of Bao Dai. * Spatial distribution: Currently, there are 19 temple inscriptions remaining in Thua Thien Hue, scattered across 5 districts and cities in the province: Phong Dien district, Quang Dien district, Huong Tra district, Phu Vang district, and Hue city. * Authors of the texts: The authors who drafted the texts for the Hue temple inscriptions mostly belonged to the common people. Below the inscriptions written by these people, the text is generally recorded as "respectfully engraved/recorded by the village." * Inscription Craftsman: Of the 19 stele in Hue communal houses, only one stele fully records the name and surname of the engraver. This was a clerk under the Nguyen dynasty. This allows us to infer that the engravers for the stele in Thua Thien Hue communal houses were likely trained, professional craftsmen. 2. Clearly identify the formal characteristics of the stele in Thua Thien Hue communal houses (including comparisons with steles from some northern localities, such as the Kinh Bac stele and the Gia Lam district stele in Hanoi): size, decorative patterns, Nôm script, and taboo characters. 3. Clarify some content issues of the stele in Thua Thien Hue communal houses: the construction and restoration process of the communal house; the settlement process; and the feng shui beliefs of the local inhabitants. 12. Practical Application of the Topic: This thesis can be used as a resource for research and teaching on Vietnamese communal house stele in general, and stele and some cultural issues of Thua Thien Hue villages in particular. 13.
