Summary of the thesis results: After studying the system of communal house steles in Thua Thien Hue, we have the following results: 1. Clarifying some issues about the time of appearance, spatial distribution, text authors, and engravers of the communal house steles system in Thua Thien Hue. * Time of appearance The entire system of communal house steles in Thua Thien Hue that we surveyed was born during the Nguyen Dynasty, from Tu Duc to Bao Dai. * Spatial distribution Currently in Thua Thien Hue, there are 19 communal house steles remaining, these steles are scattered in 5 districts and cities in the province: Phong Dien district, Quang Dien district, Huong Tra district, Phu Vang district, Hue city. * Text authors The authors who drafted the text for the Hue communal house steles were mostly from the common class. The bottom of the steles written by these people are generally written as "bon xa respectfully engraved/respectfully recorded". * Engraver Among the 19 Hue communal house steles, there is only one stele that records the full name and surname of the engraver. That was a scribe under the Nguyen Dynasty. This allows us to deduce that: the engravers for the Thua Thien Hue communal house steles could be trained, professional workers. 2. Specify the formal characteristics of the Thua Thien Hue communal house steles (including comparison with the steles of some northern localities, such as Kinh Bac stele, Gia Lam district stele - Hanoi): size, decorative patterns, Nom script, taboo characters. 3. Clarify some issues of the content of the Thua Thien Hue communal house steles: the process of building and restoring the communal house; the process of settling down; the feng shui concept of the residents here. 12. Practical applicability of the topic: The thesis can be used as a reference for research and teaching about Vietnamese communal house steles in general, steles and some cultural issues of Thua Thien Hue villages in particular. 13.
