Summary of thesis results: Technology transfer activities are extremely important for the development of businesses in particular and the development of society as a whole. This is because it directly introduces new technologies and equipment into the province, promotes production and business activities, and brings economic and social benefits to the locality as well as the country. In reality, in recent years, in Vietnam in general and in Bac Ninh province in particular, technology transfer activities have been very new and limited. In the process of integration, improving the quality and competitiveness of the economy through technology transfer activities plays a very important role. However, initial surveys show that the majority of technology transferred to businesses in Bac Ninh province originates from foreign countries. Does this mean that domestic research institutions lack the capacity to develop new technologies to meet the needs of domestic businesses, or are we lacking certain policies? This thesis investigates several key issues as follows: Firstly, the positive and external impacts of science and technology policies on technology transfer activities in businesses in Bac Ninh province. Secondly, the negative and reciprocal impacts of science and technology policies on technology transfer activities in businesses in Bac Ninh province.
