This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:

Chapter 1 of this thesis surveys and researches to present the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and laws on the development of science and technology and science and technology communication..Simultaneously, clarify the importance and role of the press and media, especially television, in the development of science and technology, in order to realize the Science and Technology Development Strategy as outlined in Decision No. 418/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

Chapter 2 examines the current state of production, content, and format of the Technology - Life (VTV1) and 7 Days of Technology (VTV2) programs on Vietnam Television, drawing conclusions and scientific evidence to objectively assess the effectiveness of science and technology communication through VTV1 and VTV2 channels. This provides the basis for proposing scientific recommendations in Chapter 3.

In Chapter 3, the thesis proposes solutions and recommendations to the program editorial board, management and research agencies in science and technology, experts, and scientists to improve the quality of programs and the effectiveness of information on science and technology at Vietnam Television.

Supplementing scientific information on the current state of science and technology communication activities in the press in general and television in particular in recent times.

Propose solutions and recommendations to the program's editorial board, management and research agencies in science and technology, experts, and scientists to improve the quality of the program and the effectiveness of information on science and technology.

Thesis focused research and give some basic results are followed:

In Chapter 1, the thesis had investigated and studied to present documents about strategies and policies of Communist Party and States for developing science and technology and communication on science and technology. The thesis also confirms the important position and role of journalism and media, especially television with developing of science and technology to realize decision No.418/QD-TTg of Prime Minister approving the strategy for science and technology development.

In Chapter 2, the thesis, based on a survey of the product activities, content and form of 2 programs: Technology and Life (air on VTV1) 7 days Technology (air on VTV2) to draw conclusions and science clues, then assesses effective communication on science and technology through VTV1, VTV2 channels of Vietnam Television. The thesis had studied and investigated to draw academic petitions in Chapter three.

In chapter 3, the thesis suggests some solutions and suggestions for editor board of programs, administrator, science and technology studies, expert to improve quality and effectiveness of science and technology communication activities on Vietnam Television.

11. The applicability in practice:

The thesis provides more information about science and facts of communication on science and technology on journalism general and television in private. In further, the thesis also provides solutions, suggestions for editor board of programs, administrator, and science expert to improve quality of program and effectiveness of science and technology information. Besides, with the findings derived from the theoretical and practical research, the thesis will be a useful reference for teaching activities on journalism and communication and people who are interested in this issue.
