Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis has studied the process of political socialization of youth through the movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". The research aims to clarify two important aspects of sociology: the process of youth learning from the moral example of Ho Chi Minh (the learning process) and the process of following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh (the process of recreating what has been learned). The thesis also analyzes the important factors affecting these two processes. Through the process of research, investigation, and survey, the thesis has obtained certain results, specifically as follows: First, the topic describes the popularity of the movement among youth groups and the attitude of youth towards the movement. The research results affirm that: The majority of youth have heard of the movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". In addition, the thesis also shows that a large number of young people do not have a proactive and positive attitude in the process of approaching and participating in the movement. Secondly, the thesis goes into understanding the contents that young people learn from the movement, the methods and time they learn these contents. From there, it is seen that: young people are interested in many different contents of the movement, especially the contents related to social issues that are of great concern today such as: anti-corruption, moral training, practicing thrift... These contents are received by them mainly through Party organizations, unions, workplaces, mass media, at the time of collective activities. Thirdly, the topic has analyzed the positive changes in the awareness of young people after they approach the movement. Besides, the topic also shows that young people highly appreciate the effectiveness and significance of the movement in many different areas of life. Fourthly, the thesis pointed out the important factors affecting the process of youth learning and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, which are the content, form of implementation and the leadership capacity of the organizer of the movement. At the same time, the thesis also affirmed that there is no difference in gender, age, education level of youth in the process of learning and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. Fifthly, from the awareness in the process of approaching the movement, youth have applied the acquired content into real life through specific, close and practical actions in daily life such as: saving, studying hard, having high responsibility in work, spirit of mutual love, volunteering in community life, loving the homeland and village... The study also shows that following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh by youth has brought benefits to themselves, their families and society. Sixth, the thesis provides recommendations and solutions to help functional agencies, mass organizations, especially the Youth Union, take more practical actions and measures to improve the effectiveness of the movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example among young people. 11. Practical applicability: The thesis contributes to helping mass organizations and functional agencies evaluate the actual effectiveness of the movement among different classes of people, in aspects such as the level of interest, changes in awareness, and actual actions.
