Gender and education level affect the change in family size. It is predicted that in the future, family size will continue to shrink, the trend of single-parent families will increase.
11. Practical applicability: Based on the analysis of changes in family size along with factors affecting family size in Hanoi today, the thesis proposes recommendations to help promote positive changes and limit negative changes to Vietnamese families today.
