This is the content of the working session between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Education Section, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam this morning, January 9, 2025.
Highly appreciating the efforts of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam in connecting and implementing cooperation and exchange activities between universities in Taiwan (China) and VNU-USSH, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, expressed his hope that the two sides will have many effective cooperation programs in the future.
Accordingly, the two sides will strengthen exchange activities in training and scientific research to leverage each other's strengths, such as promoting exchange programs for students and faculty; coordinating the organization of international scientific conferences on culture, history, and literature; awarding scholarships for students and faculty; coordinating Vietnamese language training in Taiwan; and organizing Chinese language proficiency exams in Vietnam…
The meeting was attended by Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Mr. Chu Da-Minh, Head of Education, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam.
Both sides hope to further strengthen the effective cooperation between VNU-USSH and universities in Taiwan.
Previously, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had many cooperation activities in many fields with universities in Taiwan, such as signing memoranda of understanding with 16 Taiwanese universities at the Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition held in October 2023 at VNU-USSH; visiting and signing memoranda of understanding with universities and research institutes during the working trips of VNU-USSH leaders in Taiwan (such as: Taiwan Normal University, Chenggong University, Taichung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Political Science University, National Taiwan University (NTU), Institute of History and Philosophy under the Central Taiwan Research Institute, National Taiwan Library...).
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, successfully organized the event.
Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition 2023, attracting the participation of 44 leading universities in Taiwan in the fields of: social sciences and humanities, foreign languages, pedagogy, culture and arts; natural sciences - engineering - technology; medicine - agriculture - forestry; economics - management. This is the largest number of universities participating in the exhibition ever. Here, Vietnamese students had many opportunities to find valuable scholarships to study abroad as well as refer to study experiences with international students.
