Within the framework of the International Conference "Tran Duc Thao - Some philosophical and historical issues" organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on December 28, 2023, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Doan - Phu Nhan University, Taiwan (China) as the conference chair had discussions and shared with scientists and students of VNU-USSH about many scientific issues of interest.

The Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a warm and cordial reception with Prof. Dr. Tran Van Doan. Sharing the future development directions of the school, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, said that VNU-USSH always adheres to the pioneering orientation of playing a core role in training and researching basic sciences of the country to reach regional and international levels, in parallel with developing a number of new training majors and specialties. The school has many support policies, invests in lecturers and attracts high-quality human resources, and develops a team of scientists in a sustainable manner.

Appreciating the comments of Professor Tran Van Doan, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan hopes that Professor Doan will continue to have more collaboration and support so that young lecturers, students and trainees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to have more channels for academic development as well as investment sources to develop capacity.

Prof. Dr. Tran Van Doan is a Doctor of Science at the University of Paris (France, 1973), Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck (Austria, 1975), Honorary Doctor of St Francis Xaver University (Canada, 2001), taught at the University of Salzburg (Austria) and Professor of Philosophy at Taiwan University.
