On November 18, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU had a working session and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Royal Rajabhat University of Udon Thani, Thailand.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on cooperation mechanisms in the following areas: student exchange, credit recognition, and establishment of potential joint training programs. In particular, the two Principals agreed to implement a number of joint research and publishing activities based on the advantages of scientific human resources of the two units, focusing on a number of key areas such as Tourism Studies, International Studies, Thai and Vietnamese languages, etc.

The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation between the two schools was solemnly held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
It is known that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its founding, on November 1, 2023, Udon Thani Rajabhat University established the Vietnam Studies Center. During his recent working trip to Thailand, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue visited and highly appreciated the cooperation activities of Udon Thani Rajabhat University with Vietnam, especially the school's opening of a Vietnamese language major and the establishment of the Vietnam Studies Center. This is a facility for in-depth training on Vietnam, providing data and information about Vietnam, contributing to promoting understanding and good cooperation between the two countries.
Previously, during his visit to Udon Thani Royal University in Thailand in mid-November 2023, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan discussed and agreed with Principal Khanisara Thansunthornsakun on a plan to strengthen cooperation between the two schools.
The above contexts are favorable premises for effective, in-depth and sustainable cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and Udon Thani Royal University. The visit and work of the UDRU delegation at VNU-USSH has demonstrated goodwill and realized the opportunity for comprehensive cooperation between the two major universities of the two countries.
