VNU-USSH collaborates with Meta Communication Center in providing soft skills training for Korean language students.

This is the content of the working session between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and representatives of the Meta Communication Center on the afternoon of December 5, 2023.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, stated that, as a leading university in Vietnam in research and training in social sciences and humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has become a partner of many international universities, organizations, and businesses. VNU-USSH is honored to have been visited and worked with by many heads of state and leaders, including Korean leaders, during their visits to Vietnam. Many Korean corporations and businesses have chosen the university to implement cooperation activities, support scholarships for students, and organize career guidance seminars for VNU-USSH students, such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG, etc.
Currently, VNU-USSH has 17 faculties/institutes, 3 research centers, and 1 research institute, contributing significantly to Vietnam's education and research and serving as a bridge to countries around the world. Among them, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, is one of the leading institutions in Vietnam specializing in Korean history, culture, literature, geography, economics, politics, and diplomacy. In addition,Sejong Korean Language Center HanoiThe University of Social Sciences and Humanities, which is affiliated with the National University of Social Sciences and Humanities, has also carried out many training and networking activities between Vietnam and South Korea.
During the meeting, the leaders of VNU-USSH and Meta Communication Center identified common ground in collaborative training.
The university highly appreciates Meta Communication Center's collaboration in offering soft skills training courses for VNU-USSH students, such as presentation skills training and Korean language proficiency courses, which will broaden students' future job opportunities.
Expressing his delight at the warm welcome from the university, Mr. Kim Hyeong-gi, CEO of Meta Communication Center, shared his profound impressions of meeting and working with the leaders and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH. Mr. Kim Hyeong-gi stated that he was deeply moved by the affection and love that VNU-USSH students have for the Korean language in particular, and for the people, culture, and country of Korea in general. Therefore, Meta Communication Center recognizes its responsibility to support students in their Korean language studies and in their job search after graduation.
During the meeting, leaders from VNU-USSH and Meta Communication Center identified common ground in training cooperation, not only for students but also to support faculty members directly teaching Korean at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, and in Vietnam in general. Both sides will reach agreements to proceed with signing a memorandum of cooperation as soon as possible.
