University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The school-wide briefing session, chaired by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, was held on February 8, 2011.

On January 19, 2011, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed a Decision awarding Certificates of Commendation to 5 Party branches and 20 Party members for their outstanding contributions to Party building work in 2010.

In accordance with Decision No. 174/2008/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2008, of the Prime Minister on the promulgation of regulations on standards and procedures for appointing and dismissing professors and associate professors; based on the strategic development plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces the number of professors and associate professors to be appointed to the following disciplines:

Recently, President Nguyen Minh Triet signed Decision No. 1995/QD-CTN awarding the Third-Class Labor Medal to the Party Committee Office and the Offices of the Youth Union, the Political and Student Affairs Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for their outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2005-2006 academic year to the 2009-2010 academic year.

Over 70 general questions and dozens of direct questions from students were discussed and answered at the dialogue session between students and school leaders last night, November 30, 2010.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, USSH reviews the achievements the Faculty has accomplished.

On November 1st, 2010, a school-wide briefing session, chaired by Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – was held.

On October 7, 2010, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University - signed a decision to establish the Science and Tourism Services Company, under the direct management of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On October 1, 2010, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - the Rector of the University - signed a decision regarding the appointment of leadership personnel for several units.

The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 58/2010/QD-TTg on the promulgation of the "Charter of Universities", dated September 22, 2010.
