University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On November 9, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held the opening ceremony for the postgraduate training course of the 2012-2013 academic year.

At the invitation of Hawaii Pacific University (Hawaii, USA) and the World Historical Society, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the university - led a delegation including Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of History, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Le, Head of the Department of Vietnamese History, and Dr. Tran Thuy Anh, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and Training Department, to visit and work in Hawaii (USA) from October 28 to November 2, 2012.

On the morning of November 7, 2012, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, together with the Vietnam Law Newspaper, organized an exchange program to introduce the Young Writers' Competition.

On November 6, 2012, the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, solemnly held the opening ceremony for the 4th cohort of the dual degree program in Tourism and Travel Service Management.

On October 29, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to award the Chung-Soo Scholarship from South Korea to 80 students with outstanding academic achievements, students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have strived to study, and student union officials with good academic performance.

On October 24, 2012, the Youth Union of the Administrative Staff Block held its General Meeting for the 2012-2013 term.

The Editorial Board of the Dong Thap University Journal of Science cordially invites scientists to contribute articles to the first issue, to be published in December 2012.

The Center for Cooperation and Knowledge Transfer (VNU) announces to its member units and scientists working at VNU the content and procedures for the second intellectual property registration for the 2012-2013 academic year.

On November 5, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a scholarship awarding ceremony for Vietravel scholarships titled "Vietravel accompanies Vietnamese talents". Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University, and Mr. Pham Quang Hung – Director of Vietravel's Northern branch.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities cordially invites all postgraduate and doctoral students admitted in the first and second rounds of 2012 (including students transferring from bachelor's to master's and from bachelor's to doctoral levels) to attend the opening ceremony of the QH-2012-X course.

The Postgraduate Training Department announces the schedule for the final exams in Basic Foreign Language and Academic Foreign Language.

Based on official document No. 4030/ĐHQGHN-CTCTHSSV, starting from the 2012-2013 academic year, the minimum number of credits (excluding Physical Education and National Defense Education) required for scholarship consideration for advanced/high-quality classes is 15 credits.
