University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On January 14, 2012, the Policy Advisory Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its third meeting. Professor Phan Huy Le - Chairman of the Council - and the Vice-Chairmen of the Council (Professor Vu Duong Ninh, Associate Professor Pham Xuan Hang, Associate Professor Nguyen Van Kim) presided over the meeting.

On the afternoon of January 14, 2013, Dr. Matthew Hibberd (Head of the Department of Film, Media and Journalism - University of Stirling - Scotland) visited and worked with the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. The visit was part of the cooperation activities between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Stirling, specifically between the two faculties specializing in journalism and communication.

On the afternoon of January 15, 2013, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh – Vice Rector – met and worked with the International Institute for Japanese Culture Studies (Nichibunken), led by Professor Shirahata Yozaburo. During the meeting, both sides exchanged ideas on coordinating activities such as workshops and seminars this year.

On January 8, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University - signed Decision No. 28/XHNV-TC regarding the dismissal of Dr. Dang Thu Huong (Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication) from her concurrent position as Director of the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training to focus on managing the Faculty.
