The Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is pleased to announce the enrollment plan for the "Presentation Skills" certificate training course, details as follows:

Warmth, intimacy, and sharing were the emotions felt during the meeting and exchange between the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Professor Iwatsuki Junichi of the University of Tokyo, in charge of the Japan Research Support Program.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Professor of History, People's Teacher Phan Huy Le (February 23, 1934 - February 23, 2024), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Science under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Vietnam Historical Association are jointly organizing an exhibition of photographs and a book presentation entitled "Phan Huy Le's Posthumous Works: Understanding Vietnamese History".

On February 20, 2024, an international scientific conference themed “Multidisciplinary Approaches in the Study of History and International Relations in the 20th-21st Centuries: From the Perspectives of Vietnamese and French Scholars” was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Following the success of the 2023 Job Fair, which connected over 100 domestic and international employers with nearly 1000 exciting job opportunities for students and opened up many opportunities for cooperation between educational institutions and businesses, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) will organize its 2024 Job Fair on March 24th.

As a tradition, every year at the beginning of the new year, the Board of Directors, along with all staff and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organizes a ceremony to offer incense at the National Special Monument of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam in Hanoi.

During the Lunar New Year holiday, many foreign students chose to stay in Vietnam to enjoy the unique atmosphere and flavors of the Vietnamese New Year. That was the message that Rector Hoang Anh Tuan conveyed to all the leaders of departments, centers, faculties/departments/institutes, and organizations attending the February University-wide Meeting on February 5th, 2024, ahead of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

On January 31, 2024, the Institute for Policy and Management (IPAM), Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, Federal Republic of Germany, held a meeting and signed a cooperation agreement to implement the SETY project and other community service projects in the future.

On January 26, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held a closing ceremony for a short-term course and awarded certificates to students from Nanning Normal University.

On January 24, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, met and worked with a delegation from the Institute of Marxism, Guangxi University, China - represented by Associate Professor Dr. Luong Kien Tan, Vice Director, and other members of the delegation.

Dispelling the chill of winter, the atmosphere at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi became truly warm with tight hugs and friendly handshakes from generations of former faculty and leaders of the university at the reunion and appreciation event held by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024.

On January 26, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized the scientific conference "The Engaged Spirit of Vietnamese Buddhist Women Past and Present," which attracted the attention of many experts, lecturers, researchers, and students from universities, research institutes, and organizations.

On January 27th, the Association of Vietnamese Businesspeople Abroad (BAOOV), in collaboration with the Vietnam Communist Party Online Newspaper, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), and the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Ho Chi Minh City Branch), will organize a seminar entitled "Positioning Vietnamese Business Brands in Global Media".

This initiative is part of the EU JULE (Engineering, Legal and Justice Enhancement in Vietnam) project, a collaboration between the Center for Applied Research and Development in Social Work (CARDSW), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), and the Justice Initiative Fund (JIFF), as reported on January 22, 2024.
