On March 6, 2024, speakers from the US Embassy had a talk on the topic "Denuclearization and the Vietnam - US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" with lecturers and students of the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On February 29, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted a meeting with the delegation of Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Branch, led by Prof. Dr. Phrakrusutheejariyawat Pagdenog (Vice Rector). Many information about scholarships, study support, and academic exchange opportunities were shared and agreed upon by both sides.

On March 2, 2024, the admissions consulting group consisting of teachers and students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a working trip to Ha Long High School for the Gifted, Quang Ninh with a number of member schools of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The working group had a meeting and discussed the contents of cooperation in the coming time with the Board of Directors of Ha Long High School for the Gifted, and spent more than 3 hours providing direct admissions consulting to the students of the school.

On March 1, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong and representatives of the leaders of the faculties of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting and worked with Professor, Dr. William M. Bodiford, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA and Professor, Dr. Matthias Hayek, Institute for Advanced Study (EPHE), French Republic.

The Olympians Domestic Universities Exhibition event organized by Vinschool Ocean Park High School on February 28th had the participation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and many universities nationwide. In particular, the VNU USSH consulting counter was always bustling with questions and concerns from many students who wanted to learn more about social sciences majors at the University of Humanities.

The schoolyard of My Dinh High School, Hanoi is very different today, because from early Monday morning, there were teachers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and member universities of VNU in the 2024 University Admissions Consulting program.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Professor of History, People's Teacher Phan Huy Le (February 23, 1934 - February 23, 2024), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Sciences under VNU and the Historical Association jointly organized a photo exhibition and introduced the book "Phan Huy Le's Posthumous Works: Perceptions of Vietnamese History".

Following the success of the 2023 Job Fair, connecting more than 100 domestic and foreign employers with nearly 1,000 interesting job positions for students and opening up many cooperation opportunities between educational institutions and businesses; on March 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) will organize the 2024 Job Fair.

Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary will be fundamental trends in the context of a university ecosystem operating under the motto of connection and innovation - creativity.

It has become a tradition that every New Year, the Board of Directors, along with all staff and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi, organize an incense offering ceremony at the special national relic of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi.

That is the message sent by the school's Principal to all staff, employees and students in the first days of the new year of Giap Thin 2024.

On February 5, 2024, the Cybermetrics Labs (under the Spanish National Research Council) announced the results of the first Webometrics ranking of 2024. In this ranking, VNU increased its position in the world's top 700 and for the first time, the Impact criterion entered the world's top 500 (position 495).
