University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

This assessment was shared by Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam, during his visit to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on March 21, 2024.

On March 19, 2024, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan met and worked with Prof. Dr. Macro Abbiati - Science and Technology Counselor, Italian Embassy in Hanoi, and Prof. Patrizia Dogliani - representative of the University of Bologna, to discuss research cooperation, faculty exchange, and student exchange.

On March 17, 2024, faculty, staff, and students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) gathered at Hanoi University of Science and Technology to participate in the 2024 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair.

This was the content of the working session and signing of the cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Samsung Research and Development Center Vietnam (SRV) on the afternoon of March 14, 2024.

The training program provides students with an understanding of the process and team building of television program production, develops visual thinking and television language, masters problem-solving skills, scriptwriting, production organization, interviewing, on-location work and handling, hosting, editing skills, etc.

The professional training program aims to equip students with the necessary communication and public relations knowledge and skills that they can immediately apply upon starting work at companies, agencies, and organizations.

Recently, Vietnam National University, Hanoi issued Decision No. 585/QD-VNU-HN dated March 1, 2024 and Decision No. 765/QD-VNU-HN dated March 11, 2024 regarding the allocation of enrollment quotas for regular undergraduate, master's, doctoral programs and other training systems.

The training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) attracted the attention of hundreds of parents and students at the 2024 Admissions and Career Guidance Program organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper.

The Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is pleased to announce the enrollment plan for the certificate training course "Skills in Writing News Articles for Online Newspapers," with the following details:

Delight, affection, and admiration were the emotions felt by the teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) during their exchange with artists from the Vietnam Traditional Opera Theatre right on the university's stage on the afternoon of March 6, 2024.

On March 6, 2024, speakers from the US Embassy held a discussion on the topic of "Denuclearization and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the US" with faculty and students of the Department of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On February 29, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted a delegation from Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus, led by Professor Phrakrusutheejariyawat Pagdenog (Vice Rector). Information regarding scholarships, academic support, and academic exchange opportunities was shared and agreed upon by both sides.

On March 2nd, 2024, a team of admissions counselors, including faculty and students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), visited Ha Long Specialized High School in Quang Ninh province, along with several other member universities of VNU. The delegation met with the school's administration to discuss future cooperation and spent over three hours providing direct admissions counseling to the students.

On March 1st, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, along with representatives from the faculties of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), held a meeting and discussion with Professor Dr. William M. Bodiford, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA, and Professor Dr. Matthias Hayek, Institute for Advanced Studies (EPHE), Republic of France.

The Olympians National University Exhibition, organized by Vinschool Ocean Park High School on February 28th, was attended by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and many other universities nationwide. In particular, the VNU-USSH booth was bustling with questions and inquiries from many students eager to learn more about social science programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
