University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On May 16th, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Honghe Academy, China, held a working session to discuss cooperation activities for student and faculty exchange between the two universities.

On May 9th, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), held a meeting and working session with the Ambassador of South Korea.

On April 26, 2024, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi officially signed Decision 1683/QD-VNU on the promulgation of the Bachelor's degree program in Film and Popular Arts (pilot program) and assigned the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to officially recruit students in 2024.

(According to the People's Daily Newspaper) Given the current reality that the concept of "international scientific paper" is simply understood as "international journal article," Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, believes that this definition is incomplete and that the true meaning of "scientific paper" needs to be understood correctly to avoid disadvantages for researchers.

This was the content that was unanimously agreed upon during the working session between representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Guangxi Academy of Social Sciences (GASS) on the afternoon of April 22, 2024.

This was a positive gesture from the Korean partners during a meeting with the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) this afternoon, April 15, 2024.

This was a common goal agreed upon by all parties at the working session between Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Prof. Laetitia Atlani-Duault - President of the Covid-19 Memory Institute.

At LOTTE CENTER Hanoi on April 10, 2024, five students from VNU-USSH were honored to receive scholarships from the Lotte Scholarship Fund, South Korea.

This was the main topic discussed during the visit of Mr. Panupat Chavananikul, Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Hanoi, to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On April 5, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) - met and exchanged views with experts from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation on topics such as sustainable development, socio-ecological transformation, and circular economy.

On March 28, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with Danko Group, held a scholarship awarding ceremony for 11 students who achieved excellent academic and personal development results, with a total scholarship value of 55 million VND.

In 2024, the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities will recruit 10th-grade students for its specialized programs with a total of 140 places (70 places for Literature specialization, 35 places for History specialization, and 35 places for Geography specialization).

On the evening of March 24, 2024, the final round of the "Talent and Beauty of Humanities: USSH Gralent 2023" competition, themed "Honoring - Connecting - Inspiring," concluded with incredibly vibrant and humanistic performances from 16 contestants from various disciplines at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The Job Fair - Connecting Employers 2024 brought together nearly 60 participating businesses, offering almost 1,300 job positions for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the OCOP Center to support localities in building brands and promoting the trade of OCOP products in conjunction with the development of tourism and the local economy.
