Speaking at the Conference, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized that, in a busy period with nearly 70 targets implemented in the past school year, the overall results were basically good. The school's staff is stable, increasing in quantity and quality, the enrollment targets in all systems and levels of education have exceeded the set targets. The school regularly improves and innovates the quality of training as well as student care activities... In addition, the school also faces many challenges, including ensuring increased revenue to develop the salary fund, ensuring improved living standards for staff, lecturers and scientists. These challenges require the school's apparatus to always be stable.

Attending the Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice President of Hanoi National University, former Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expressed his respect, honor and pride in studying, working, and being given the opportunity to train and grow up at one of the two leading training cradles in the country in social sciences and humanities.
Praising and congratulating the achievements of VNU-USSH in the past school year with many bright spots, the Vice President of Hanoi National University affirmed that the team of leading experts and scientists of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has cooperated with central ministries, branches, the Central Theoretical Council and Hanoi National University to organize many conferences, seminars, talks, and research to advise on policy development for the Party and the State. This is a strength that affirms the position, scientific reputation as well as the social responsibility of the school. Resolving important issues in school development
After listening to the report of the Board of Directors evaluating the results of the implementation of tasks in the 2023-2024 school year, the direction of tasks in the 2024-2025 school year and the reports, opinions and discussions, the Conference unanimously resolved on important issues in the development of the school. Accordingly, the Conference agreed with the content of the report of the Board of Directors on the results of the implementation of tasks in the 2023-2024 school year, in which, although there are still some shortcomings, the School has basically completed the set targets. Activities were carried out according to plan, ensuring the quality and general development orientation of the School and Hanoi National University.
  The conference approved the key tasks of the 2024-2025 school year, specifically: focusing resources and building a support mechanism for lecturers and scientists to standardize the title of Professor/Associate Professor, training leadership and management skills for the management team; fostering professional skills for administrative staff. Prioritizing investment in attracting highly qualified lecturers to work at the school; focusing on strongly implementing Resolutions 18 and 19 on streamlining the organizational structure towards paying salaries according to job positions and implementing the university autonomy mechanism.
Continue to develop guidance documents and innovate the school's training management process in a streamlined, efficient and scientific manner, ensuring appropriate application of current training regulations. Promote online training in organizing training and developing electronic lectures.
Organize recruitment and training programs well to attract tuition fees according to technical and economic standards, complete the project to open 02 new training programs. Innovate and strengthen the work of caring for and supporting learners.Publish works to serve 80 years of tradition and 30 years of establishment of the school; review and publish textbooks to serve training; establish strong school-level research groups; organize national and international seminars in a series of events towards 80 years of tradition and 30 years of establishment of the school.
Continue to promote international cooperation and attract international students, shifting the target audience from short-term to full-time, from undergraduate to postgraduate. Diversify international exchange programs and international internships so that the school's students have more opportunities and choices. Expand cooperative relationships with localities and domestic enterprises to increase community service projects, to promote investment for the traditional anniversary plan in 2025.
To successfully carry out the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year, the Conference requested the Board of Directors to coordinate with the Trade Union, with the supervision of the People's Inspectorate, to direct the good implementation of the school year's targets and tasks approved by the Conference.
The conference called on all cadres, lecturers, students and pupils of the School to promote the spirit of democracy, discipline, solidarity, strive to compete and strive to excellently complete the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year.
The Conference of Officials, Employees and the Summary of the 2023-2024 School Year of the School voted to pass the Resolution with the result of 171/171 (100%) of the delegates attending.
