The training session was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Dr. Cam Anh Tuan - Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management, along with leaders and specialists from the functional departments and centers under the university's administrative block.
Vice Principal Lai Quoc Khanh emphasized the professionalization and modernization of the school's administrative work.
Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, emphasized that in order to professionalize and modernize the university's administrative work, reviewing the issued ISO standards for processes is a necessary and important task to standardize procedures. Based on the content of the training session, the departments/centers under the Rectorate will standardize the development and management of procedures, aiming towards digitizing the issuance and management of administrative procedures and documents.
According to information from Vice Principal Lai Quoc Khanh, the school aims to develop a software system for digitizing, managing, and using administrative documents to ensure that all tasks throughout the school are handled smoothly, synchronously, professionally, and efficiently.
Dr. Cam Anh Tuan - Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, shared a presentation on the topic of Building and Implementing Work Processes.

During the training session, Dr. Cam Anh Tuan shared content on the concept, role, requirements, and techniques for building processes that are scientific and effective; and updated current legal documents on document management and archiving. Accordingly, building and implementing work processes will help to handle tasks consistently and professionally, reduce work pressure, and increase satisfaction for staff and specialists. At the same time, applying processes will help managers control work quality, assign personnel rationally, conduct inspections, and easily determine the responsibilities of individuals and organizations. Based on the practical experience of building and implementing several processes at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, speaker Cam Anh Tuan analyzed the strengths and weaknesses so that departments and functional centers can review and adjust accordingly.


The training session also served as a forum for leaders and specialists from various units to exchange experiences in developing and implementing work process procedures, and to address any difficulties encountered during the implementation of this activity.
Enhancing the professional capacity and ensuring flexibility in the performance of duties by administrative staff throughout the university is the message and task that the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has set out in recent times to meet the requirements of development and innovation of the university in the context of the strong ongoing reform of higher education.
