Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, born in 1944, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, after a period of illness, despite the devoted treatment of the Party, the State, a group of professors, doctors, and leading medical experts, and the wholehearted care of his family, due to old age and serious illness, he passed away at 1:38 p.m. on July 19, 2024 at the 108 Central Military Hospital.
