1. Mục đích và đối tượng nghiên cứu của luận án

- Mục đích nghiên cứu của luận án:

Luận án làm rõ tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh về thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam cầm quyền. Từ đó, vận dụng vào đánh giá thực trạng thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng qua 30 năm đổi mới, chỉ rõ những vấn đề đặt ra và đề xuất định hướng đẩy mạnh thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng theo tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh hiện nay.

- Đối tượng nghiên cứu của luận án:

Hệ thống hóa các quan điểm Hồ Chí Minh về thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam cầm quyền và định hướng đẩy mạnh thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng theo tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh hiện nay.

2. Các phương pháp nghiên cứu đã sử dụng

Trên cơ sở phương pháp luận của chủ nghĩa Mác - Lênin, luận án sử dụng tổng hợp các phương pháp nghiên cứu của ngành khoa học xã hội nhân văn, khoa học chính trị như: Phương pháp lịch sử, phương pháp lôgic, phương pháp so sánh, phương pháp phân tích, phương pháp tổng hợp, phương pháp thống kê, phương pháp tổng kết thực tiễn, phương pháp văn bản học v.v…để triển khai các nhiệm vụ luận án đặt ra.

3. Các kết quả chính và kết luận

3.1. Các kết quả chính

- Luận án hệ thống hóa và luận giải tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh về vai trò, nội dung, phương thức, điều kiện thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam cầm quyền. Đặc biệt hướng tới phân tích chiều sâu lý luận qua các tác phẩm và đánh giá hoạt động thực tiễn với tấm gương của Người, thông qua các quan hệ với mình, với người, với việc và với tổ chức. Đây lại là chỗ đặc sắc trong tư duy Hồ Chí Minh, nhất là về dân chủ trong Đảng.

- Luận án phân tích, đánh giá khái quát quá trình thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng qua hơn 30 năm đổi mới (tập trung đại hội XI đến nay) theo tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh và chỉ rõ những vấn đề đặt ra với xây dựng Đảng hiện nay.

- Luân án đề xuất định hướng nhằm đẩy mạnh thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng theo tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh hiện nay.

3.2. Kết luận

Luận án là công trình nghiên cứu độc lập của tác giả, có ý nghĩa lý luận và thực tiễn như sau:

- Về lý luận: Luận án đã làm sáng tỏ tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh về vai trò, nội dung, phương thức và điều kiện thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam cầm quyền. Trên cơ sở đó, luận án sẽ là tài liệu tham khảo phục vụ cho công tác nghiên cứu và giảng dạy chuyên ngành Hồ Chí Minh học, các môn khoa học xã hội và nhân văn có liên quan về thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng.

- Về thực tiễn: Từ góc tiếp cận Hồ Chí Minh học, luận án đã khái quát cơ bản quá trình thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng qua hơn 30 năm đổi mới. Qua đó, luận án chỉ ra định hướng đẩy mạnh thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng trong giai đoạn phát triển tiếp theo của đất nước. Do đó, kết quả nghiên cứu của luận án sẽ cung cấp những luận chứng, luận cứ khoa học cho chính sách về thực hành dân chủ trong Đảng với xây dựng Đảng.

1.  Thesis purpose and objectives

- The purpose of the dissertation research:

The thesis is to clarify Ho Chi Minh ideology about the role, content, methodology and conditions practice democracy in the communist party of Viet Nam ruling. Since, applying Ho Chi Minh ideology on analysis the fact of   democratic practice of the Party after 30 years of revolution, clrarifying the issues and propose the orientation of practice democracy in the Communist party in accordance to the current Ho Chi Minh’s ideology.

- The object of the dissertation research:

Systemizing the Ho Chi Minh point of view on the democratic parties in the current ruling of communist Party of Viet Nam and orienting the democratic practice in the Communist party with current party building in accordance to Ho Chi Minh’s ideology.

2. Research methods

On the basis of the Marxism – Leninism methodology, the dissertation uses the synthesis of research methods of the social sciences, humanities and political science such as historical method, logical method, method comparison, analytical methods, synthesis methods, statistical methods, methods of summary of practices, text methods, etc. to implement the tasks of the thesis.

3. Major results and conclusions

3.1. The major results

- The thesis on systematization Ho Chi Minh ideology about the role, content, methodology and conditions of practicing democracy in the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam. Particularly focused on theoretical depth of analysis through the works and the evaluation of practical activity with his example through relations with himself, with people, with work and with the organization. This is a unique point in Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, especially in democracy in the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam.

- The dissertation analyzes and assesses the process of practicing democracy within the Party after 30 years of renovation (convening XI Congress to now) according to the Ho Chi Minh ideology and pointing out problems with construction of the Party now.

- The dissertation proposes the orientation to promote practice the democracy in the communist party with the party building in accordance to the Ho Chi Minh ideology.

3.2. Conclusions

The thesis is an independent study of the author, meaningful and practical reasoning as follows:

- Theoretical reasoning’s: The thesis has clarified the role and content, method and condition democratic practice in the communist party of Viet Nam ruling. On the basis, the thesis will be references serving research and teaching especially in Ho Chi Minh ideology, the social sciences and humanities subjects concerned about democratic practice in the Communist Party.

- Practical reasoning’s: From Ho Chi Minh learning approach, the dissertation outlines basically the impacts of democratic practice to promote the role of intellectuals in our country's 30 years of innovation. Thereby, the thesis points out the need to promote democratic practice in order to promote the role of intellectuals in the next developing stage of our country. Therefore, the research results from the thesis will provide feasibility studies, the scientific foundation for the policy of democratic practice for promoting the role of intellectuals.
