Mong peoples residents mainly in mountainous areas along the northern border of our country, so this community is an important factor contributes to securing of northern border. The Mong peoples life is needed to pay attention, especially the booming trend of conversion to Protestantism in the this community from the 1980s.
The thesis has focused on studying the influence of Protestant on changing Mong’ culture through some rituals. This thesis studied on traditional Mong community and Mong Protestants Community in six north-western provinces of our country
In chapter I, the thesis points out the features of the traditional culture of Mong, the penetration and the cause of the strong development of Protestant in Mong community.
In Chapter II, the thesis has surveyed the changing in the practice of some rituals between traditional Mong community and Mong Protestants community and assessment about this changing.
