Chapter 2: Survey of legitimate question-and-answer dialogue pairs. Chapter 3: Survey of unofficial question-and-answer dialogue pairs. Through studying conversation theory and question-and-answer dialogue pairs in Vietnamese textbooks for foreigners from basic to advanced levels, the thesis aims to make basic, objective and logical comments on the problem. Within the framework of the thesis, we only want to focus on Vietnamese textbooks for foreigners so that readers have a specific and general view. The main purpose of the thesis is to survey and classify question-and-answer dialogue pairs in Vietnamese textbooks for foreigners to find out the basic characteristics. From there, build a system of question types as well as answers suitable for the level of learners and design lessons as well as textbooks. From the research results, we hope to be able to contribute to the teaching and compilation of Vietnamese textbooks for foreigners to gradually raise the status of Vietnamese.

Through the understanding theory of conversation and ask – reply Exchange in Vietnamese for foreigner textbooks from basic to advanced level, the thesis directs to the basic comments and matter logic. In the frame of thesis, we only want to focus on the Vietnamese for foreigner textbooks in order to help the reader having clear and general view. The main aim of the thesis is investigating and classifying ask – reply Exchanges in Vietnamese for foreigner textbooks to find the basic characteristics. From this finding, can build the system of questions as well as replies that are suitable for level of learners and design the lessons and textbooks as well. From the researched results, we hope to be able to contribute one part in teaching and designing the Vietnamese for foreigner textbooks to enhance the Vietnamese language position.
