10. Summary of the thesis results:

Psychological intervention for a gay man who used amphetamines has yielded positive results. Through the successful combination of psychological therapies such as positive behavior management, motivational interviews, cognitive behavioral therapy, and the matrix model, the client has shown positive changes in his perceptions, emotions, and behavior.

From an awareness perspective, the client has recognized that substance abuse is a priority issue that needs to be addressed. The client has learned the knowledge and skills to reduce and eventually stop using amphetamine-type substances.

Emotionally, the client experienced a reduction in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress, and began to gain control over cravings. The frequency of cravings decreased from a 10 to a 1 out of 10. Craving control also improved, from a 0 to a 6 out of 10.

Regarding behavior, the client has actively developed and followed a daily and weekly work schedule, participated in favorite activities, and reduced or stopped activities that affect cravings and substance use. The intervals between the client's uses have lengthened; previously once a month, now once every two months, once every three months, and currently once every three to six months.
