10. Summary of the results of the thesis:

After studying Adjustment Disorder (AD), we have developed the concept of AD as a psychological disorder that individuals develop after experiencing certain social stressors. This disorder can manifest itself in cognitive symptoms, such as excessive worry about the consequences of the stressor, in emotional symptoms, such as low mood, or in behavioral symptoms, such as withdrawal from social interactions. These symptoms cause significant distress and interfere with the psychosocial functioning of the affected individual.

Therapy has been effective in helping children manage stress, reduce avoidance behavior, and excessive anxiety. In addition, therapy also adjusts false perceptions about themselves and gradually re-experiences positive emotions. The therapy process also applies systemic therapy and family structure to bring the best results for children. In particular, therapists also make efforts to find additional support resources from the family so that children can recover faster and prevent future problems.

11. Practical application:

In fact, more and more cases of children with psychological difficulties are being discovered, they encounter many psychological disorders, but only a few receive professional psychological support, which makes their recovery longer, and forms false beliefs about themselves, others and society. Adjustment disorder is a disorder that is easily overlooked because of its characteristics that are easily confused with other disorders. With the study of a clinical case, we hope to contribute a small illustration to the clinical approach to children's problems.

10. Summary of the results of the thesis:

After studying Adaptive Disorder (AD), we built the concept of AD as a psychological disorder that an individual has after experiencing some social stressors. The disorder can manifest in cognitive symptoms, such as excessive anxiety about the stressors' consequences, in emotional symptoms, such as low mood, or in symptom behavior, such as withdrawing from social interactions. These symptoms cause considerable distress and interfere with the psychological function of the affected individual.

Therapy has been shown to be very effective in helping children in managing stress, helping to reduce avoidance behaviors, and to worry excessively. In addition, the therapy also corrects misperceptions about yourself and gradually re-experiences positive emotions. The therapeutic process also applies systemic and family structured therapy for the best results for the child.

Special therapists also make efforts in finding more supportive resources from the family so that the child can recover faster and prevent it in the future.

11. Practical applicability in practice:

In fact, more and more children are discovering more and more cases of children with psychological difficulties, they encounter many psychological disorders, but only a few receive professional psychological support, which makes their recovery takes longer, and creates false beliefs about themselves, others, and society. Adaptive disorder is a disorder that is easily overlooked by traits that are easily confused with other disorders. With the study of a clinical case it is hoped to contribute a small illustration of the clinical approach to the problem of the child.
