10. Summary of the thesis results:

Psychological intervention for an adolescent with emotional disorder revealed several issues, including the following:

The cause of the client's emotional disturbance – depression – during therapy stemmed from irrational beliefs about themselves and their relationships, especially with friends. The client also tended to prioritize external appearances over internal ones, experienced numerous anxieties, and lacked positive experiences and emotions. Consequently, when faced with difficulties, the client struggled to find appropriate coping mechanisms.

To intervene in this case, we used cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach helps the client re-evaluate how their mind functions in different situations. Through this, the client recognizes the connection between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, adjusts and restructures their self-perception, and finds more positive alternative thoughts. Along with this, the client is supported in viewing the problem from different perspectives, changing their perception of self-worth and the value of others.

This case study was conducted and supported at school. Therefore, the involvement and support of the family, homeroom teacher, and subject teachers are crucial in encouraging and motivating the client to maintain their homework and skills at home and in the classroom. The family will listen, share with the client, and understand their story and perspective. The homeroom teacher and subject teachers will work together to enhance and encourage the child's participation in group activities, collective events, and school-wide events so that the child gradually regains their interest and self-confidence.

11. Practical applications:

With the results obtained from the theoretical and practical research process, the thesis has fully completed the procedure of a case study. The methods and therapeutic techniques applied in the thesis serve as a useful reference for clinical psychologists and provide further practical evidence of the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in intervening for clients with emotional disorders.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Psychological intervention for a minor with mood reveals disorders the following problems:

The cause of emotional disturbances - depressive disorders in the client during therapy are irrational beliefs about themselves, about relationships - especially in relationships with friends. The client is also a person whose external focus is higher than internal, has a lot of concerns, and has not had positive experiences and emotions either. Since then, when facing difficulties, the client has not found a way to respond appropriately to the situation he is having.

To intervene in this case, we have used cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach will help the client re-examine how his or her mind works in different situations. Through it, clients realize the connection between emotions - thoughts - behaviors, adjust and restructure self-awareness, find more positive alternative thoughts. Along with that, clients will be supported to see problems in different perspectives, changing perceptions of self-worth and others.

This is a case done and supported at school. Therefore, the participation and support of families, homeroom teachers and subject teachers have an important meaning in encouraging and motivating clients to maintain the implementation of homework assignments and skills both at home and in the classroom. The family will listen, share with the client and understand the story and the client's point of view. The homeroom teacher and subject teachers will work together, strengthen the bond and encourage your child to participate in group activities and school-wide events to gradually regain interest and confidence in yourself.

11. Practical applicability:

With the results obtained from the theoretical and practical research, the thesis has fully implemented the process of a case study. Therapeutic methods and techniques are applied in the thesis as a useful reference for clinical psychologists and provide additional empirical evidence on the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy when intervening clients with emotional disturbances.
