10. Summary of the results of the thesis:
Psychological intervention for a case of an adolescent with emotional disorders revealed the following problems:
The cause of emotional disorders - depressive disorders in clients in therapy is irrational beliefs about themselves, about relationships - especially in relationships with friends. The client is also a person with a higher external focus than internal, has many worries and has not had positive experiences and emotions. Therefore, when facing difficulties, the client has not found a suitable way to cope with the situation he encounters.
To intervene in this case, we used cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach will help the client to look back at how his mind operates in different situations. Through this, the client will realize the connection between emotions - thoughts - behaviors, adjust and restructure his self-perception, find more positive alternative thoughts. Along with that, the client will be supported to look at the problem from different perspectives, change the perception of self-worth and others.
This is a case that is performed and supported at school. Therefore, the participation and support of the family, homeroom teacher and subject teachers are important in encouraging and motivating the client to maintain the exercises and skills at home and in class. The family will listen, share with the client, understand the story and the client's perspective. The homeroom teacher and subject teachers will coordinate, enhance and encourage the child to participate in group activities, collective activities and general events of the whole school so that the child gradually regains interest and confidence in himself.
11. Practical application:
