Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis has analyzed the overall and comprehensive economic development process of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone since the reform and opening up to the present. From there, we study more clearly the economic development method, the achievements, the shortcomings and difficulties of Shenzhen special economic zone in particular and of China's special economic zones in general. Thereby, we draw some lessons for the construction of economic zones in our country. 11. Practical applicability: Vietnam and China "mountains connect mountains, rivers connect rivers", the experiences in building economic zones of our country are the lessons of blood that we need to learn in the spirit of creativity and promotion. The thesis has proposed some measures to promote the development of Vietnam's economic zones with the goal of becoming development locomotives in the economy like the model of Shenzhen special economic zone. 12. Further research directions: Within the framework of the master's thesis as well as in a short period of time, the author has not been able to deeply and meticulously study all aspects related to the Shenzhen special economic zone, thereby comparing and analyzing with economic zones in Vietnam. Therefore, the next research direction will be to delve into the current situation, achievements, limitations... of the current economic zones in Vietnam, thereby studying some typical models of Shenzhen-style special zones in Vietnam.
