Summary of Thesis Results: The thesis is 79 pages long (A4 size). First, the thesis provides an overview of international migration. Specifically, it addresses the concept of migration and migrants, classifies migrants, summarizes migration throughout history, and explores the most fundamental causes driving migration. Second, the thesis discusses new conditions for the development of migration; the situation and some characteristics of migration worldwide and in various regions. Third, the thesis presents, analyzes, and evaluates the impacts of migration, including positive and negative impacts on individuals, nations, and international relations. 11. Practical Application Research on migration and its impact on international relations will reveal the interaction between this phenomenon and other global issues such as development, population, poverty, transnational crime, terrorism, and the environment. Historical practice shows that Vietnam is one of the countries significantly affected by international migration. Studying this issue from a regional and international perspective can provide deeper insights into its trends and impacts on Vietnam. Through this, we can exploit positive factors to serve the country's development. 12. Further research directions: The student will strive to develop this topic for the doctoral program. 13. The thesis brings out numerous concepts of international migration and migrant before classifying international migrant. Besides, the thesis mentions about international migration in history, then to be concerned with fundermental causes of international migration. That is the first chapter. Secondly, new circumstances in international context, reality and some impportant traits of international migration at regional and global level are also added. Those constitute the second chapter. Last but not least, impacts of international migration is analized and commented in the last chapter. So, the impacts are divided intwo good and bad ones at individual, state and international level. 11. Applicability To do research on international migration helps us stay awake to the interaction between international migration and other global issues, such as development gap, poverty, demography, transnational crime, terrorism, envionement, etc. In fact, Vietnam is strongly affected by international migrants. To do research on this issue brings us advanced knowledge on its directions and impacts on international relations, regions as well as Vietnam. So, we can gain from good impacts and minimize bad ones for development. 12. Further research proposal This MA thesis will probably developed for PhD program. 13.
