Summary of the results of the thesis The thesis is 79 A4 pages thick. First, the thesis introduces an overview of the issue of international migration. Specifically, the thesis mentions the concept of migration and migrants, classifies migrants, generalizes the migration phenomenon in history and explores the most basic causes promoting the migration phenomenon. Second, the thesis mentions new conditions for the development of the migration phenomenon; the situation and some characteristics of the migration issue in the world and regions. Third, the thesis raises, analyzes and evaluates the impacts of the migration phenomenon, including positive and negative impacts on people, countries and international relations. 11. Practical applicability Research on the migration issue and its impact on international relations will show the interaction between this phenomenon and other global issues such as development, population, poverty, transnational crime, terrorism, and the environment. Historical practice shows that Vietnam is one of the countries greatly affected by the issue of international migration. Studying this issue from a regional and international perspective can provide a deeper understanding of the trend and its impact on Vietnam. The thesis brings out numerous concepts of international migration and migrant before classifying international migrant. Besides, the thesis mentions about international migration in history, then to be concerned with fundermental causes of international migration. That is the first chapter. Secondly, new circumstances in international context, reality and some impportant traits of international migration at regional and global level are also added. Those constitute the second chapter. Last but not least, impacts of international migration is analized and commented in the last chapter.
