Further research directions: Due to objective and subjective conditions, the thesis has only presented initial assessments of the role and benefits of Vietnam when participating in regional cooperation. The author expects the next research direction of the thesis to focus on studying the contributions and analyzing the specific influence of Vietnam in the East Asian integration process, thereby comparing and contrasting with Japan, China, Korea... to help the thesis have higher scientific and practical value.

Also, we shall define the reasonable orientation for supporting and actuating the friendly and overall cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Japan. 12. Further research directions, if any: Due to objective and subjective conditions, the thesis just presents proactive assessments on the role and benefits of Vietnam during its participation in the regional cooperation. As expectation of the author, the following research direction of the thesis shall focus on studying contributions and analyzing detailedly influences of Vietnam in the East Asian association process, thennceforward giving comparison and collation with Japan, China and Korea…etc…The thesis has much more scientific and actual value.
