10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis systematically presents the process of Son La Provincial Party Committee applying the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies to carry out the task of leading the resettlement of the Son La Hydropower Project from 2003 to 2010. Through the practice of leading the implementation of the resettlement task, the thesis has objectively assessed the achievements, limitations and initially drawn some experiences in leading the resettlement task. This is the basis for agencies, departments and branches of Son La province to test the practice, draw lessons to continue to successfully complete the resettlement task in the coming time.

The completed thesis will provide an overview of the Son La hydropower project, the Son La hydropower resettlement project. The research results of the thesis can also be used as a document serving the work of mobilizing and propagating resettlement not only for the Party Committees of Son La Provincial Party Committee but also as a reference document for localities nationwide when carrying out the task of migration and resettlement.

11. Practical application:

The experiences drawn from the practical leadership process are the basis for improving the leadership effectiveness of the Son La Provincial Party Committee in the work of resettlement in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies on resettlement of the Son La Hydropower Project, and at the same time are valuable lessons for localities to refer to.

Continue to study the leadership process of Son La Provincial Party Committee on resettlement work from 2010 to present.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The thesis presents logically the process when Party Committee of Son La Province applies guidelines and policies of Party, policies of State to implement duties of managing the emigration and resettling works of Son La Hydroelectricity Project from 2003 to 2010. Through realities of managing the emigration and resettling duty, the thesis evaluates objectively the achievements, limitations and initially withdraws several experiences in leading the emigration and resettling duty. This is the base for offices, departments and branches of Son La Province to experiment in reality and to withdraw experiences to continue finishing successfully the emigration and resettling duty in the next time.

The finished thesis will provide an overview of Son La Hydroelectricity Works, and Son La Hydroelectricity emigration and resettling. The research result of thesis can be used as materials for manoeuvring, propagandizing emigration and resettling not only for party committee belonging to Party of Son La Province but also as reference for localities in the whole country when implementing the emigration and resettling duty.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

Experiences withdrawn from leading process in reality are the base for contributing into improving the leading efficiency of Party of Son La Province for emigration and resettling according to guidelines and lines of Party, policies of State on emigration and resettling works of Son La Hydroelectricity Project, at the same time as valuable experience for localities to refer.
