Based on this, it generalizes the theoretical issues that have general significance for the integration of modern Chinese and Vietnamese poetry with Western poetry in the early 20th century.

This paper gives a comparison of the features between Huy Can's poetry before August Revolution and DaiWangshu's poetry in China by focusing on the two authors' creative themes and inspiration, writing style, emotional expression, poetic genre, artistic features, and the use of language and rhetoric. Then this paper puts forward some theoretical questions which are significant for the integration of the modern poetry of Vietnam and modern poetry of China early twentieth century.
