This thesis has collected, compiled, and systematized materials on training and research in the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the former Hanoi University and the current Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This thesis outlines the process of organizing and implementing training and research tasks on the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam at Hanoi University and Vietnam National University, Hanoi from 1974 to 2014.

This thesis presents observations on the achievements and limitations in 40 years of training and research in Party history, and based on that, draws lessons and proposes some directions and solutions to innovate the training and research in Party history at Hanoi National University today.

This thesis, with its data, analysis, and observations on the training and research activities in the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam at Hanoi National University over 40 years (from 1974 to 2014), will contribute to the application of these findings to current training and research activities in the History of the Communist Party at Hanoi National University.
