- This thesis first offers a new understanding of myth: Myth is a type of thinking that has strongly infiltrated literature, changing the sense of reality as well as the poetic system of modern literature.

ButThis thesis points out the manifestations of mythologization in Nguyen Huy Thiep's short stories in two aspects: plot and characters: parody of legends, religious parody, rebirth of fairy tales, and demystification of history. Through this, we affirm Nguyen Huy Thiep's conscious effort to learn from and inherit traditional cultural values, as well as his bold and innovative approaches in his endeavor to renew the genre.

-This thesis clarifies the forms of spatiotemporal mythology in Nguyen Huy Thiep's short stories, as well as how these spatiotemporal forms are organized, arranged, and combined to create a multidimensional artistic world.

- Firstly, the thesis gives a new understanding of myths: Myth is a kind of thinking which has strong penetration in the literature and changing the sense of realism and poetic system of modern literature.

- Secondly, the thesis gives expression methods mythologized in the short story Thiep on two aspects that are storyline and characters: the legend parody, the parody religion, the recreated fairy and sacred history. Thereby, we affirm willingness to learn, inherit the traditional cultural values ​​as well as new and daring innovations of Nguyen Huy Thiep in the category innovation efforts.
