In the thesis Innovation of foreign news on Vietnam National Defense Television channel, the author pointed out the advantages in terms of content, form, production team, and the reasons for the advantages. At the same time, he pointed out the limitations in terms of content, form, and news production organization process. On that basis, the author proposed groups of solutions to innovate and improve the quality of foreign news (English news, Chinese news) on Vietnam National Defense Television channel such as solutions on content; on transmission and broadcasting; on broadcasting time frame and duration; on innovation and modernization of news. The author made some recommendations for innovation of foreign news such as: Producing more foreign language news; Increasing the duration of a news bulletin, reducing the number of news bulletins/day; Increasing new news bulletin genres; Investing in building mobile and internet television services; Expanding the scope and audience...

Simultaneously, the author has specified the limitations of content, form, and process of producing news-bulletins. On that basis, the author has proposed solutions to renovate and improve the quality of the External Affairs News-bulletins (English News and Chinese News) on Vietnam National Defense TV Channel, including solutions related to content; transmission and broadcasting; broadcast schedule and duration; renovation and modernization of the news-bulletins.
