In the thesis "Innovating Foreign Affairs News on Vietnam National Defense Television Channel," the author points out the advantages in content, format, and production team, as well as the reasons for these advantages. Simultaneously, the author clearly identifies the limitations in content, format, and the production process of the news bulletin. Based on this, the author proposes groups of solutions to innovate and improve the quality of the Foreign Affairs News (English and Chinese versions) on Vietnam National Defense Television Channel, including solutions regarding content; transmission and broadcasting; broadcast time slots and duration; and news modernization. The author offers several recommendations for innovating the foreign affairs news bulletin, such as: producing more foreign language news bulletins; increasing the duration of each bulletin and reducing the number of bulletins per day; increasing the variety of new news bulletin genres; investing in mobile and internet television services; and expanding the scope and target audience.
