11. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis provides an overview and systematizes knowledge about digital transformation, its impacts on businesses in general and on business performance in particular, through a study of domestic travel businesses in Hanoi. Digital transformation is a new research field; this thesis synthesizes knowledge from around the world and domestically to systematize the theoretical basis of digital transformation, and then applies it to research to describe the impact of digital transformation on the performance of domestic travel service businesses in Hanoi, aiming to determine the influence of digital transformation on the performance of this group of businesses. From the systematization of the theoretical basis, the thesis develops 10 factors affecting digital transformation on businesses, combined with a performance measurement scale to conduct a survey and describe the impacts of digital transformation on the performance of domestic travel businesses in Hanoi. Based on the research results, this study proposes and suggests several solutions to improve the effectiveness of digital transformation in domestic travel and tourism service businesses in Hanoi.
12. Practical applicability: This document serves as a reference for students, trainees, and researchers in the field of tourism, as well as for tourism businesses in general and travel agencies in particular, to understand and improve the effectiveness of digital transformation.
