To have good communication behavior with traffic participants, traffic police must have full awareness of the regulations, etiquette, and standard behavior of the People's Police. And especially, it is necessary to practice basic communication skills to be able to apply them at the best level when communicating with traffic participants. The thesis has contributed to clarifying the consistency between internal awareness and external behavior through the level of application of communication skills of the Traffic Police of Traffic Police Team No. 2 in the process of communicating with traffic participants. The thesis assesses the current situation of communication behavior of Traffic Police with traffic participants during the performance of duties as generally quite good. The thesis clearly shows the factors affecting the communication behavior of traffic police in the process of communicating with traffic participants, and at the same time offers solutions to improve communication skills for traffic police so that their communication behavior achieves better results. 11.
