Summary of Thesis Results: Traffic police are a force that regularly interacts with the public and with the negative aspects of society. Therefore, the communication and conduct of the police force while on duty has a significant impact on building the image of the People's Police "Serving the People." To achieve good communication with traffic participants, traffic police officers must have a full understanding of the regulations, etiquette, and standard conduct of the People's Police. In particular, they must cultivate basic communication skills to apply them effectively when interacting with traffic participants. This thesis contributes to clarifying the consistency between internal perception and external behavior through the level of application of communication skills by traffic police officers of Traffic Police Team No. 2 in their interactions with traffic participants. The thesis assesses the current state of communication behavior of traffic police officers with traffic participants during the performance of their duties as generally quite good. This thesis identifies factors influencing the communication behavior of traffic police officers during interactions with road users, and proposes solutions to improve their communication skills, leading to more effective communication. 11. Practical Application: This thesis provides the General Department of Force Building – Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, and Traffic Police Team No. 2 in Hanoi with a basis and arguments to guide the training and improvement of communication skills for police officers, contributing to better communication and enhancing the image of police officers today. The thesis can be used as a reference, learning, and teaching material. 12. Future research directions: With the research methodology and approach of this thesis, focusing on the area under the responsibility of the officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No. 2, it is possible to apply this to research the issue of communication behavior with traffic participants throughout Hanoi City.

And especially to train the basic skills to use them at the best level when communicating with people in traffic. The thesis points out the coherence between personal perception and action using the analysis of the ability to apply communication skills of policemen in Transportation Police Group No. 2 in their communication with transportation participants. The research acknowledges that the partial communication of transportation police with road participants in their duties is quite good. Further, it finds out the impact factors that influence communication action of the transportation policemen in their interaction with road participants as well as provides solutions to enhance their communication skills in order to improve the quality of communication activities. 12. Practical Application: To provide the General Department of Construction, The Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi Transportation Police Department, and the Transportation Police Group No. 2 knowledge and justifications to direct the improvement of communication skills for the people's police officers and staff that they can have good communication behaviors contribute to the improvement of the contemporary people's policemen.
