10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis "Educational Cooperation between China and the Mekong Subregion Countries in the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative" provides a comprehensive view of educational cooperation between China and the Mekong subregion countries, including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand from many perspectives.
Some recommendations to improve educational cooperation between China and the Mekong sub-region countries are given in the thesis. First of all, it is necessary to strengthen dialogue and information exchange between the parties, ensuring balance and equality in the cooperative relationship. Sub-regional countries should be more proactive in designing and implementing cooperation programs. Second, it is necessary to develop more diverse and flexible scholarship and teacher exchange programs, suitable to the specific needs and conditions of each country. Third, it is necessary to build mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational cooperation programs, ensuring that these programs are implemented transparently and bring practical benefits to both sides.
Educational cooperation between China and the Mekong sub-region countries under the BRI has achieved remarkable results, but also faces many challenges that need to be overcome. The proposed recommendations aim to improve and promote educational cooperation in a more sustainable and effective manner, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of both sides.
