11. Summary of thesis results:
After the research process on the Science and Technology (S&T) human resource index in the local innovation index (PII) system in Vietnam, the student has completed the objectives and tasks of the thesis. A summary of some results is as follows:
- In Chapter 1, the Author analyzed and explained to clarify the theoretical basis for measuring innovation and the use of science and technology human resource indicators in the innovation index set;
- In Chapter 2, the Author analyzes the current situation of selecting and building measurement indicators related to science and technology human resources in the local innovation index (PII) of Vietnam; at the same time, points out the advantages and disadvantages when using science and technology human resources indicators in the local innovation index PII;
- In chapter 3, based on the limitations and difficulties that still exist in the process of measuring the index of science and technology human resources in the local innovation index PII, and analyzing some experiences of countries around the world, the author provides some scientific arguments to perfect the index of science and technology human resources in the local innovation index PII Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis are reference documents, providing scientific basis and some recommendations for perfecting the human capital and research pillars in the local innovation index (PII) of Vietnam. The research work will also be a reference document for students and graduate students to research the innovation index.
13. Further research directions: In the coming time, the author will continue to research on perfecting the pillars (on Institutions; Infrastructure; Business development level; Knowledge, innovation and technology products; Impact) in the local innovation index PII.
