11. Summary of project results:
Following the research on the impact of the Indo-Pacific Strategy on ASEAN, the trainees have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some of the results is as follows:
Chapter 1: An Overview of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy
This chapter will address the context, factors influencing the urgency and the creation of the Biden administration's Indo-Pacific Strategy. Following that, it will discuss the objectives and interests of the United States in implementing the Strategy in the region. Finally, it will examine the current implementation practices.
- Chapter 2: The Impact of the Indo-Pacific Strategy on ASEAN and Some Relevances and Recommendations
This chapter of the Project will provide a clear analysis and assessment of the impacts and effects of the Strategy on ASEAN, both positive and negative. It will then draw connections to Vietnam in particular, and forecast the future trends in the US implementation of the Strategy in the region. Based on this, it will offer some observations and recommendations for ASEAN and Vietnam.
12. Practical Application: The synthesis and analysis of the US strategy toward the region under President Joe Biden are quite clear and convincing. The student has applied the knowledge gained from researching US policy toward ASEAN to make some predictions and recommendations for Vietnam. These analyses are fundamentally appropriate and have theoretical and practical value for Vietnamese politics. Furthermore, they can serve as a reference for those interested in learning about US policy toward the region, especially under President Joe Biden.
13. Future Research Directions: In the coming period, students will continue to research and monitor issues related to US policy towards the region, especially in the context of the upcoming US presidential election at the end of 2024. From this, they will analyze, evaluate, and forecast the impacts and effects on the region in general and Vietnam in particular, contributing to the formulation of policy recommendations for Vietnam in its relations with the US and ASEAN. This will enable Vietnam to effectively utilize the opportunities offered by the US strategy, minimize risks and challenges, and contribute to affirming and strengthening the nation's position on the international stage and firmly protecting the homeland in the new situation.

After the research process on the impact of Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS) on ASEAN, the students have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some results is as follows:
- Chapter 1: Introduction of the US's IPS
In this chapter, the Project will discuss the context, which impacts on the urgency and reason President Joe Biden administration has his own Indo - Pacific Strategy. Then, the analysis will look from different perspectives, from theory to practice, aiming to clearly outline the driving forces leading to US policy adjustments under President Joe Biden; the goals and interests of the US in implementing IPS in the region. Finally, its implementation process to date.
- Chapter 2: Impact of the IPS on ASEAN, its application and recommendations
In chapter 2, the author provides detailed analysis and assessment of the impacts and influences of the IPS on ASEAN, both positive and negative. From there, the author will provide its application on Vietnam and simulanously give some forecast on the trend of the US implementing the IPS in the region in the future then provide recommendations for ASEAN and Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability: The synthesis and analysis of the US strategy towards the region under President Joe Biden are quite clear and convincing. Students have applied the knowledge gained in the process of researching US policy towards the ASEAN region to make some forecasts and recommendations for Vietnam. These analyzes are basically appropriate and have theoretical and practical value for Vietnamese politics.
13. Future research directions: In the coming time, the author will continue to research issues related to the US's policy on the region, especially in the context of the upcoming election at the end of 2024, in order to analyze and forecast its impact on the region in general and Vietnam in particular, contribute to making recommendations and policy proposals for Vietnam in its relations with the US and ASEAN, to be able to utilize opportunities brought by the US's IPS, minimize risks and challenges, contribute to affirming and strengthening the country's position in the international arena, firmly protecting our nation in the new era.
