11. Summary of project results:
After researching the impact of the Indo-Pacific Strategy on ASEAN, the students have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some results is as follows:
- Chapter 1: Overview of the US Indo-Pacific Strategy
In this chapter, the Project will discuss the context, factors affecting the urgency, and the birth of the Indo-Pacific Strategy of the Joe Biden Administration. Then, the goals and interests of the US in implementing the Strategy in the region. Finally, the implementation practice up to the present time.
- Chapter 2: Impact of the Indo-Pacific Strategy on ASEAN and some connections and recommendations
In this chapter, the Project will provide clear analysis and assessment of the impacts and influences of the Strategy on ASEAN, both positive and negative. From there, it will provide connections with Vietnam in particular; at the same time, it will forecast the trend of the US implementing the Strategy in the region in the coming time. On that basis, it will provide some comments and recommendations for ASEAN and Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability: The synthesis and analysis of the US Strategy for the region under President Joe Biden are quite clear and convincing. Students have applied the knowledge gained in the process of researching US policy towards the ASEAN region to make some forecasts and recommendations for Vietnam. These analyses are basically appropriate and have theoretical and practical value for Vietnamese politics. In addition, they can be used as reference materials for those interested in learning about US Policy towards the region, especially under President Joe Biden.
13. Further research directions: In the coming time, students will continue to research and monitor issues related to US policy towards the region, especially in the context of the US presidential election at the end of 2024, thereby analyzing, evaluating and forecasting the influences and impacts on the region in general and Vietnam in particular, contributing to making recommendations and policy proposals for Vietnam in its relations with the US and ASEAN to be able to take advantage of the opportunities brought by the US Strategy, minimize risks and challenges; contribute to affirming and strengthening the country's position in the international arena, firmly protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

After the research process on the impact of Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS) on ASEAN, the students have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some results is as follows:
- Chapter 1: Introduction of the US's IPS
In this chapter, the Project will discuss the context, which impacts on the urgency and reason President Joe Biden administration has his own Indo - Pacific Strategy. Then, the analysis will look from different perspectives, from theory to practice, aiming to clearly outline the driving forces leading to US policy adjustments under President Joe Biden; the goals and interests of the US in implementing IPS in the region. Finally, its implementation process to date.
- Chapter 2: Impact of the IPS on ASEAN, its application and recommendations
In chapter 2, the author provides detailed analysis and assessment of the impacts and influences of the IPS on ASEAN, both positive and negative. From there, the author will provide its application on Vietnam and simulanously give some forecast on the trend of the US implementing the IPS in the region in the future then provide recommendations for ASEAN and Vietnam.
