The research findings of this thesis will systematize the documentation on inscriptions preserved on the surface of architectural materials. It will record findings regarding national names, reign names, government names, place names, personal names, etc., that are inscribed/engraved/printed on these materials.

It explains many aspects of history that other written sources cannot fully encompass.

Assessing the construction phases of archaeological sites, especially in the citadel area, contributes to providing accurate dates for architectural materials.

Providing insights into the process of sourcing and selecting raw materials for material crafting, the methods and techniques of crafting, firing techniques, and methods of carving, engraving, stamping, writing, and drawing on materials.

The thesis can be used as a reference for teaching, learning, and researching historical sites and related artifacts.

12. Future research directions:

The research prospects for inscriptions on architectural materials extend to a broader scope and longer timeframe. This includes research on inscriptions on pottery, bronze objects, wooden artifacts, and more.
