The thesis is the first systematic and detailed monograph on the Hon Ngo - Nui Hua relic group in Quang Ninh through archaeological surveys and excavations.

Research, edit, analyze relics, analyze specimens, create documents, thereby seeing the characteristics, nature and appearance of this group of relics, the similarities and differences with the relics of the same period in the area. Create a rich and accurate source of documents for further research on the appearance and characteristics of prehistoric relics in the northeastern coastal area of ​​Vietnam.

Systematize previous research perspectives along with new perceptions to have a specific and clear view of this group of relics. See the development path of the relic group in the Neolithic period of the northeastern coastal region. New discoveries will contribute significantly to consolidating the source of documents in the study of Ha Long culture and the stages before Ha Long culture.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

This thesis is the first monograph which scientifically and particularly presents the group of sites of Hon Ngo – Nui Hua in Quang Ninh as a result of archaeological surveys and excavations.

Such jobs as artefact studies, classification, sample analysis and dossier compilation have elucidated the distinctive characteristics, nature and face of this site group, as well as the similarity and difference of these sites from those contemporaneous in the region. The thesis generates an abundant and authentic source of documents towards a more detailed research into the face and characteristics of prehistoric sites in the northeastern coast of Vietnam.

The thesis has systemized the previous research viewpoints along with new perceptions for a particular and unambiguous look and the development process of this site group in the Neolithic context of the coastal northeast. New archaeological discoveries contribute significantly to the source of documents in the studies of Ha Long culture and previous stages.

The thesis contributes to the further understanding and consolidation of documents on the prehistoric cultural relationship between the coast of northeastern Vietnam and that of southeastern China.

The research results of the thesis will provide and contribute records to compiling the geography and local cultural history, especially the studies of the pre- and proto-history of northeastern coast of Vietnam.
