The research results show that, among the 73 recognized craft villages (by 2017), Phu Tho has many craft villages with conditions, resources as well as developing craft village tourism activities. In particular, the topic focuses on the conditions and current status of developing craft village tourism products in the craft villages of Hung Lo, Son Vi, Sai Nga. The exploitation of this type of tourism has initially achieved encouraging results; there have been a number of tourism products combining sightseeing, resort, business tourism with craft village tourism; contributing to job creation, increasing income for people, preserving and promoting the cultural values of traditional craft villages. However, craft village tourism products still have many shortcomings that need to be resolved, focusing on the following issues: 1) craft village tourism products are still few; 2) Tourism programs combined with craft village tourism are not attractive and unique; 3) There is no specialized tourism program on craft villages; 4) Some tourism services (accommodation, food, supplements...) are still lacking, not fully meeting the needs of tourists.
