10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis began by introducing related concepts and terms (keywords) such as the concept of culture; cultural exchange; what is cultural globalization... introducing in the most preliminary way the process of cultural exchange between China and Vietnam from ancient times to modern times today. Next, the thesis analyzed the manifestations and specific contents of the cultural exchange relationship between China and Vietnam over the past 25 years (since normalization). Cultural exchange in general as well as cultural exchange between China and Vietnam in particular have taken place in many areas of life, having a profound influence and impact on the lives of the people of the two countries. However, we have only mentioned the most important exchange activities, which are also exchange and cooperation activities in key areas such as radio-cinema-television; tourism; education-training; science and technology; literature and art, etc. The achievements over the past 25 years and the development prospects of Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange in the future are the clearest proof of this statement.

In addition to important achievements in educational cooperation and exchange, other exchange activities such as tourism exchanges, fairs and exhibitions, sports and activities of mass organizations, typically the annual friendship exchange activities of the two countries' youth... have all made great contributions to consolidating and developing cultural exchange relations in particular and China-Vietnam relations in general.

The thesis also evaluated and commented in the most objective way on the Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange relationship since normalization until now. In addition to the achievements, we still need to pay close attention to the limitations and shortcomings that are still hindering the friendly Sino-Vietnamese relationship. These are the problems caused by the "serious" imbalance in Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange; the problem of political trust leading to the problem of distrust in exchange and cooperation, the problem of the harmful effects of illegal activities, etc.

Finally, the thesis makes some recommendations to promote China-Vietnam cultural exchange such as accelerating the establishment of cultural representative facilities in the two countries; accelerating scientific and technological cooperation, especially accelerating cooperation between cultural industries.

Cultural exchange in general and Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange in particular is a very meaningful issue both scientifically and practically, so in future studies, we hope to continue to delve into the topic and study it more comprehensively, such as the issue of cultural soft power in the context of globalization, the issue of resolving historical disagreements, etc.
