Firstly, the author presents a general overview of the Southern Vietnam cultural region: its natural and social environment; and the cultural and religious life of Southern Vietnam.
Secondly, the author explores the origins, development, basic doctrines, and religious life of Cao Dai religion.
Thirdly, the author clarifies the manifestation of the relationship between Cao Dai religion and Southern Vietnamese culture: the influence of Cao Dai religion on Southern Vietnamese culture and the characteristics of Southern Vietnamese culture in Cao Dai religion.
